Popular tidal swimming strand beside Cuskinny Marsh
Cuskinny Beach is a small stony strand on Great Island near Cobh, immediately beside Cuskinny Marsh Nature Reserve. Its shallow intertidal shore recedes a long way at low water, and visitors most often mention swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding around higher tide. A small waterside parking area and a separately operated sauna are present, but no toilets, bins, lifeguard service or continuously current water-quality result was verified. Check the tide and the latest local water advice before entering the harbour.
