About Ballynamona Strand

Ballynamona Beach is part of a line of beaches from Silver Strand on edge of Ballycotton village which connects to Ballynamona, which in turn connects to Ardnahinch Beach, which then connects to Garryvoe Beach, etc. It is sandy and sheltered and popular with walkers and surfers. Public access is recorded, although the final approach and usable shoreline can still change with tide, weather and local conditions. The official beach information lists parking; check current opening, staffing and beach notices before relying on them.
