Place record
Sandy lakeshore and woodland trailhead
White Sands is a sandy lakeshore on Lough Graney at Cahermurphy. Coillte says the place is known locally by that name because of its pale shore, while Sport Ireland uses the car park here as the start of the 10-kilometre Cahermurphy Loop. The exact beach has no separate Google review page; a nearby walking-trail listing is rated for the trailhead, not the sand or water. Treat it as a natural lakeside stop and check conditions locally before entering the water.
