Narrow gravel bank on a bend of the River Lee

Stone Beach at Leemount is a narrow gravel bank on the inside of a River Lee bend west of Cork city. Aerial imagery confirms an exposed pale strip, but its size changes with river levels and it is not comparable to a serviced coastal beach. Exact public access, parking and current swimming conditions have not been verified. ESB's historical archive recalls community swimming around Leemount before the Lee hydroelectric scheme; that history is context, not a present-day safety endorsement.
