Place record
Long shingle shoreline beside Lough Beg
Curraghbinny Beach is a long shingle shoreline on the eastern side of Curraghbinny beside Lough Beg. Current aerial imagery and an older geotagged photograph both confirm the beach, but the central section adjoins an industrial site and the exact public route has not been established. Curraghbinny Wood has a car park, picnic site and walking trails nearby; those are woodland facilities, not beach facilities.
