Small gravel shore at Snave Bridge on Bantry Bay
Snave Beach is a small gravel shore beside Snave Bridge, where the Coomhola River meets Bantry Bay. A Heritage Council-supported micro-nature guide explores the lichens and trees found along this shore and connects the area with pioneering botanist Ellen Hutchins. Snave Pier is a separate swimming and sauna location about 500 metres to the south; its reviews and facilities do not describe this exact beach.
