Long tidal shore west of Querrin village
Querrin Beach is a long, low tidal shore west of Querrin village on the Shannon Estuary. Two adjoining map polygons describe the same continuous destination and are combined here. Google currently marks its beach listing as permanently closed, so this page confirms the physical shore but does not promise access. Querrin Pier and the restored handball alley are separate landmarks farther east; the pier dates from the 1840s, and the first local handball alley was built in 1910.
