Tiny sand pocket on the Garveross coast
Garveross West Cove is a tiny pocket of pale sand among rocks on the coast north of Glencolmcille. It lies within the wider Slieve Tooey, Tormore Island and Loughros Beg Bay conservation landscape, where dunes and beaches are framed by the rocky hills of Garveross and Dooey. Satellite imagery distinguishes this cove from two neighbouring sand pockets to the east. No exact Google place, public route, parking or visitor facilities were found, so access remains unverified.
