About Glassilaun Beach
Glassilaun is a long white sandy beach situated between Killary (Little) and Renvyle bays. It is over 600m long and is popular for swimming, snorkelling and walking. Public access is recorded, but the usable shore and final approach can still change with tide, weather and local conditions. Treat it as an unserviced natural shore: do not assume parking, toilets or lifeguard cover, and check tide, weather and sea conditions before entering the water.
