About Front Strand

Youghal Front Strand is a gently sloping sandy beach with a concrete promenade area to the rear for most of the length of the beach. Around 100m to the south west, there is a small area of the proposed NHA, Ballyvergan Marsh NHA, (Site Code 000078). Public access is recorded, although the final approach and usable shoreline can still change with tide, weather and local conditions. The official beach information lists parking, toilets and seasonal lifeguard provision; check current opening, staffing and beach notices before relying on them.
