The place

About Kilkee

Kilkee is a crescent shaped beach of brown coloured, poorly sorted sand and it is fairly flat over most of its width. Due to the wave conditions on the beach, not many animals are to be found living in the sand. Public access is recorded, although the final approach and usable shore can still change with tide, weather and local conditions. Official information lists parking, toilets and seasonal lifeguard provision; check current availability and local notices before relying on them.
